Insulslab is a useful construction method which is formed on the basis of a cast in-situ foundation system involving a wide array of interlocking expanded polystyrene (EPS) pods. Insulslab is applied to produce a considerably solid 'waffle' foundation system/slab. Steel fibre reinforced concrete (SFRC) is flowed over the top of the Insulslab system for making the finished foundation.
Insulslab consists of a patented and accredited interlocking extended polystyrene pod system and Insulslab, adheres to the technical guidelines of the insulation structural element, as defined inside the BBA Certificate.
Insuslab SFRC (Steel Fibre Reinforced Concrete) is treated as the superior quality foundation system that can be utilized with diversified soil types.
As compared to diversified conventional methods of foundation production, Insulslab SFRC provides outstanding thermal performance & considerable cost savings as it can be set up quickly and easily.
Insuslab SFRC offers the following advantages to the constructional professionals:-
High quality impact strength
Edge protection to the fullest extent
Superior fatigue endurance
Advanced level of shrinkage and fracture control
Superior bearing capability
Steel fibres are not harmful for power floats or concrete pumps
